We, Section 55 Community Coroners, have been working on the frontlines, carrying out essential work during the most difficult times for many families and communities – the death of a loved one. And we do all this without appropriate support and recognition.

In order for us to effectively fight for our needs, we need the power and protection of a union. However, the law currently prohibits us from doing so.

Will you send a letter to your local MLA telling them to advocate for a change to the Coroners Act and the Public Service Labour Relations Act that will allow Community Coroners to carry out our right to unionize?
